Οman is one of the most ancient civilizations in the Middle East, with a history that begins about 5.000 years ago. Today, Oman is a country of great contrast, in reference to both its geography and its character. Here you will find wonderful mountains and canyons, lush valleys, 1.700 kilometers of coast, pristine beaches, amazing wildlife and protected species, and of course, deserts.
Oman has an abundance of natural wealth. You can wear your diving suit and explore the ocean in the morning, do wadi bash in the evening, admire the sunset, have a delicious dinner and dance all night. You can also go on a relaxing stroll through the colorful markets.
From many aspects, Oman is one of the safest countries in the world. The locals are friendly, non-prejudiced and very hospitable. Both travelers and inhabitants enjoy the privileges of freedom and safety, due to a discreet, yet vigilant and efficient network of law enforcement.
